3rd times a charm?

Wednesday Our house went back on the market for a 3rd time.
Thursday we had 5 showings in the evening.
Friday Morning we had an offer!

We are under contract again...
for the 3rd time.

Selling a house is so. not. fun.
yet it is exciting that this may be the one.

The buyers are a couple,
and one, or both of them are
veterans....
that's all I know.

Fingers crossed that they
are not like the "buyer" we had
last time....
This home is more fit for the
person that listens to "Bright Eyes",
wears dark rim glasses,
Throws Holiday Parties,
Wears clothes that are from the thrift store,
Loves Wes Anderson Movies
and Yoga...

Just Kidding,
as long as they arent dressed for an
Insane Clown Posse concert...
I'm content!

Here's to hoping that
the 3rd time really is a charm!
My Favorite room in the house..Sun room.  We will miss blowing bubbles and decorating it for Holidays.  This was Halloween, and it's hard to see the spider webs..but they were everywhere!

Under Contract...Just kidding

The other day a 30-something
year old guy and his friend,
who were wearing
matching green shirts,

parked in front of our house, got out of the car and
gazed and pointed at our home for about
10 minutes....

I figured it was the "buyer" that gave us
an offer the day before....

Well, that wasn't the "buyer"...
this is how I met our buyer!

Last week the inspection on the
house was completed and PASSED!
Today was the last day they could back out
of the contract, and they wanted to walk thru the house again...

I was a little surprised when a different 30 something year old
guy wearing a HUGE skull necklace with gem stone eyes,
Jnco jeans (that were wide enough to have a picnic on)
sporting an untamed beard,
and wreaking of cigarettes
shows up at our door.....
(I knew the buyer was a single male, whose
Grandparents were buying him a house...but I imagined the guy
as a financial banker, who wore vintage glasses,
wore skinny jeans and toms shoes
and threw parties on the weekend...ha not the case!)

Anyway....he decided to back out of the contract today
after his 2nd walk-thru.

Are you kidding?
I have almost everything packed...
pictures have been taken off the walls...etc
and that wasn't easy with 2 baby boys!

Back on the market we go....
better luck this time!

My 2 lil helpers...3 helpers, if you also count Lily Bug

Things just got Real, REAL quick

Our house officially hit the market
on the 13th of March..
We began showings on Saturday at noon..
The open house was also Saturday..

24 groups of potential buyers walked thru...

Sunday the 16th, we got an offer!!!
(Only 30 hours after showings began!)

We are now under contract with an ALL CASH OFFER,
which means we dont have to wait for the banks to
process/approve any financing.

That means if all goes smooth,
we have 14 days to move.

14 days 'til we can call it SOLD!

I have a mix of emotions right now.
Anxious-2 weeks to move a family of 4 is on the verge of insanity,
and I am about to willingly go there.

Happy/excited-moving to a more family friendly neighborhood will be nice, and
a home with more bedrooms and a more open floor plan
will be more convenient with the lil guys!

Questioning-Will this new owner love this home as much
as we do?  Am I ready to hand over the keys to our fist home?

Where are we headed?
No Clue....
We will probably have to rent for a short
amount of time so we can find a home that
will be perfect for our family for 3-5 years.

Here is the listing:
