Back in October I found an awesome
white metal vintage patio set
at an Estate Sale!
I had wanted one of these
patio sets for a very long time
but before October we didnt have a patio of
our own to put it on.
And now that the sun is giving us some warm weather
in Colorado, I decided to fix up the set!
I am going to paint the table and chairs a teal blue!
The cushions were weathered and torn a bit,
so I found some old unused fabric
at a thrift store to recover them with.
I love the vintage print on the "new" fabric I found, and I think
it will look so cute once the table is painted.
Cost of the project:
Table with 6 chairs-$20 (estate sale)
Fabric for recovering cushions-$1 (thrift store)
Spray paint for repainting table-$3 (walmart)
TOTAL $24
Here is the project thus far......
BEFORE: 6 weathered cushions next to the "new" fabric |
BEFORE: laying the cushions out on the "new" fabric, so I could cut the correct size |
AFTER: cushions were recovered with vintage fabric from a thrift store |
AFTER: 6 ready-for-bbq-season cushions! |
