I found this dresser at a used
furniture store called "Savvy Furniture"
in Logan, Utah.
It was $49, and needed some TLC!
Both of which I was excited about!

I used Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint.
It was the perfect red brick color I was hoping for!
The wet color was almost identical to the dry color.
I used a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby and got it for $5.30
Since it started out as white,
I had to do 3 layers of paint to get nice solid coverage.
I than painted the existing knobs black.
The top 3 knobs were missing so I bought
some knobs at Hobby Lobby during
a 50% off sale.
Each of these glass knobs was only $2.50!!
PS-Hobby Lobby has hundreds of knobs to chose from,
so Picking out knobs for this dresser was the most time consuming part,
the only thing that sped it up was 2 busy toddlers
"sitting" in the store cart.
I had picked out 3 other kinds of knobs before I changed my mind last minute
and chose these!
After I put the black wood knobs back on the dresser,
I sprayed the entire dresser with
this Tree House Studio
Clear Acrylic Gloss Coating.
DONT FORGET TO WEAR A MASK WHILE USING SPRAY PRODUCTS!!!
After it was all painted and had the sealant sprayed on top...
I got to put on the knobs!!
It's complete and I love it...it's a little bit "Wes Anderson" and a little bit "Alice in Wonderland"
(2 of my faves!)
TOTAL COST
Dresser $49.99
Red Paint $5.30 x 2
Black Paint $0 (left over from old projects)
knobs $2.50 x 3
sealant $3.75
$71.84
Now, I need to finish painting the bedroom!
