Shiloh Loves his nap time and willingly
goes to bed at night when we say
it's "night night time"
(Believe me this is sooo different from how older Brother Caden is)
So I wanted his bedroom to
be his relaxation oasis...
with a lil bit of adventurer tied in.
Because when Shiloh is awake he is quite the adventurer!
I was going to do a "Where the Wild things are" theme,
but changed my mind when I found the following
at HOBBY LOBBY and Used decor Stores!
Last week Hobby Lobby had a huge sale on almost
all of their home decor...it was 50% off!
I bought the "hipster fox framed wall art" for 14.99
the "Matte Black Deer Head" for 35.99
(I used a 40% of coupon for that one, cuz it was not included in the sale)
I decided NOT to get the galvanized metal letters because they
did not go as well with the art as I thought they would.
The "I'll Eat you up I love you so" canvass for $5 at a used furniture store!
(it still had the new hobby lobby tag on it for $29.99)
This week Hobby Lobby had these polyresin letters for 50% off.
Since they were only 4.99/each, I decided to spell his whole
name instead of just his initials.
Last Friday, Andrew McMahon (Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate)
announced they were going to be selling this print
soon....It is lyrics from his song "Cecilia and the satelite",
which he wrote for his baby daughter.
If you haven't heard it, you should asap!
The print says, "For all the things my eyes have seen, the best by far is you"
As soon as this print is available, it will be
in Shiloh's Room!
I bought a frame for it at Hobby Lobby for $3.50 (50% off)
I had been searching Craigslist, KSL etc for a
used dresser, and finding nothing but CRAP.
Or it was a dresser that needed some work and they wanted $300
for it...excuse me?!
So I was thrilled to find this lil dresser at
a local Logan Furniture Consignment store,
called Savvy Furniture.
It's solid wood and was $49!
I am going to paint it and get new knobs!
I wanna set up all this stuff in his room,
but I need to paint if first...and I usually paint during nap time....
Thank goodness for pack and plays that can be set up ANYWHERE!
